Brady, from a Hying start, forged into a long lead at the half, came home alone and was much the lest today. Apple Toddy, from a Hying start, essayed to set the pace and, when he had relinquished the lead, held on gamely for second place. Sanguine, away poorly ami outpaced for the first half, finished last. Rustle, after being forwardly plaeed throughout, succumlied for third place in the last stride. Reiry Maid, nearly left, closed an immense gap and ran a cracking race. Ferrylanding steadily improved his position. Tee Tick showed good early siced. The winner was entered for ,000; no bid. Scratched 7H!tO Wm. Garrett, after being a prominent contender throughout, finally outpaced Rocket in the closing drive. The latter made the running for two miles and blundered at an obstacle, which cost him the lead and lie-could not get up afterwards in a game effort. Burnett was a distant last all the way. Kernel was a close contender when his jockey fell on at the end of a mile and a half and probably was best. Security, from a Hying start, spreadeaglcd his opponents, won pulled up and was much the best today. Lotus, after being outpaced in the early running, closed up rapidly in the last three furlongs into a fast going second and is in good form. Aster dOr, on the inside, ran in early close and strenuous pursuit of the winner and held on gamely for third place. Botanist probably sulked, refused to run freely at any .slage and Is strictly a mudlark. Society Bud trailed far in the rear for the first half aud closed up well in the last half. Tenancy by Courtesy ran prominently to the stretch, when; be succumlied. Wave Crest got away slowly and closed up steadily in the last half. Raymond, shullled to the rear at the start, was always outrun and is best In mud. Robert Cooper, unable to raise a respectable gallop, was heavily bandaged front and back. K.eiinyetto outbroke and outpaced her opponents decisively, won hard ridden, but responding gamely, and is a graiid filly. Touienne was lucky at the start and forwardly placed throughout, but went wide and failed to get up in a fast, but belated, stretch rush under a bad ride. Zienap, always within striking distance, loomed up midway of the stretch and was a game third; Standover ran well up throughout and was going fast at the end. Lyndhurst trailed to the stretch, where he was gaining slowly. Charles Edward got away poorly and closed up rapidly and for six furlongs was a forward contender, then quit badly. Roalta is greatly improved, maintained nearest pursuit of the fast leader to the last turn, where be was surrounded and dropped back, but came again and got up in the last stride of a game and fast rush. Howard Shean moved after the pacemaker on the last turn and, after heading her, seemed a sure winner, but bis rider was probably caught napping. Pins and Needles, reserved early, loomed up midway of the stretch and tired right at the end. Sal Volatile cut up badly at the post and got away poorly, but dashed into a long lead and held sway for seven furlongs, then quit badly. Destroyer was gaining at the end
