Arrow Swift, showing a good lliglit of speed, moved up resolutely from a slow beginning and. wearing down N" Engine in the stretch run, stood a hard drive gamely and outstayed Rexall. The latter ran a good race And had no mishaps. Edna Motter came from ia long way back in the stretch and was going fast at Hie end. No Engine was speedy, but tired fast after going live furlongs. Brakespeare had a rongh trip and was poorly ridden. .Maria showed a brief tllght of speed, but tired fast in the stretch. Siler Cup, away .slowly, had scant chance and can do much better. French Nun, lucky all the way and showing the most speed, took a long lead at once and, maintaining her speed well throughout, won with plenty in reserve. Bonebrake, shuttled back soon after the start, had to close a big gap, but finished resolutely and would have been a sharp factor with clear sailing. Nellette, taken wide most of the way and knocked back in the early stages, ran a good race and was right there at 1 lie end. Caroline AV. came from far back in the last quarter and ran fairly well. Cygnet, weakly ridden, can do much better. Helen Airginia and DOrmont showed early speed and tired fast in the last quarter. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Scratched 70957 Anna Ruskin, 93. Hasty Agiies displayed much speed, but tired as if short and should improve. Pantops i ran a good race. Merrigo, from a slow beginning, closed a big gap. Sylvan n Belle ran a good race and was best of the others. Mcllvain was gaining fast at the end. Anna Ruskin n showed speed for a half, but tired badly after suffering from interference from Scalplock on the upper r turn. Monochord was pulled up for no apparent reason. Hon-ta suffered from slight interference and ran a good race. Uncle Tim was shuffled back soon after the start and gained steadily through the stretch and will .Improve.
