NATIONAL STALLION RACE ENTRIES. Crack Sires of the Day Nominated and Total of Fees Largely Increases. Under new and novel conditions the National Stallion Race of 100! closed for stallions October 15. In commenting on" the new conditions at the time Daily Racing Form said that the result of their adoption could not fail to bring a material Increase in the gross sum derived from nomination fees of the stallions entered, and snch has proved to be the case. The stallion fees here foot up 3,340, almost double former additions to the stake from this source. The conditions of stallion nominations and the names of those entered and fees charged each, are as follows: The Twelfth National .Stallion Race. For two-year-olds. Foals of 1007. The progeny of stallions who made the season of 1900 in the United States or Canada. Stallions to be nominated on or before midnight of Tuesday, October 15, 1007, upon the following terms: Stallions, either native or imported, whose progeny won in the United States and Canada in either 1904, 1905 or 190G an aggregate of: 00,000, to pay 250 each; 150,000, to pay 200 each; 100,000, to pay 150 each; 75,000, to pay 100 each; 50,000, to pay 50 each; under 50,000, to pay 20 each; untried stallions, to pay 10 each. But in any case, stallions who themselves have won the Belmont, Brooklyn Derby, Lawrence Realization, Brighton Cup, Great Republic, American Derby or Annual Champion if carrying- weight for age or more in any of these races, to pay at least 100; of two of these races, 150; of three ir more, 200. Imported stallions not to be entered in any case for less than 50, and, if they have raced or have had produce in the United States or Canada, to come under the foregoing conditions if thereby they incur a larger fee than 50. Winners of the Two Thousand Guineas, Derby, St. Leger, Prix du Jockey Club, Grand Prix de Paris or -Prix du Conseil Municipal when carrying weight for age or more to pay 150; of two of these races, 200; of three or more, 250. A winner of a foreign weight-for-age or condition race of 5,000, to pay 100, if not incurring a larger fee by any of the foregoing conditions. Of the subscriptions for stallions, the nominator of the sire of the winner to receive thirty per cent; of the second, twenty per cent; of the third, ten per cent. The remaining forty per cent, of the stallion subscriptions to go to the owner of the winner.
