Wideners English jumping mare, has been shipped to Barney Schreibers Woodlands Stud. Bridgeton. Mo., to be bred to Sain. Mr. Widener has purchased the seven-year-old mare. Credo, by Logic — Lady Relief, from Mrs. John M. Clay ami she was shipped east a day or two ago to "be schooled for stecplechasing. Colonial Girl and Martha Gorman, belonging to Mr. Widener and now ;.t Timberland farm, are to be bred to Rock Sand and Adam respectively. William Lakeland will an*: Motley to the court of Rock Sand this season. Royal Rose, dam of Lancastrian and Transvaal, has a brown colt by Disguise at James R. Keenes Cart h tan Stud. The first get of Golden Badge in K -ntucky is a bay colt out of Fox Meadow, by The Bard, at Horse Haven farm. It is likewise the first foal of his dam. Jennie hfeCabe, full sister to Major Daingerfiehl. has a brown colt by Wild Mint at Millstream Stud. LOrlent. dam of Coligny and El Cuchillo. is to be bred to Irish Lad this season. Garret Watts was anxious to breed the mare back to Carlsbad, sire of those good steeplechasers, but he was unable to locate the horse. Trigger, full sister to Hot Shot and half sister to Gunfire and Yaukee Gun. has a chestnut filly bv Hastings at Kingston Stud. There is a two-year-old bv Hamburg out of this mare, for which Frank Johnston paid $." .10O at the sale of Clarence H. Mackays yearlings last September.
