F. 3, STAMINA, BY NASTURTIUM ENDURANCE BY RIGHT. .Stamina, the best three-year-old filly of the present year, is now on the Atlantic on her way to England and it may be that it Is her destiny to end her days as a broodmare in that land from which her ancestors s sprung. She has no engagements abroad, but many stakes will be closed in the course of the coining win- t ter and spring in which she can be entered, so that abundant opportunities for racing await her arrival in r Piiglaud. Daughter of one of the best mares that ever carried a saddle. Stamina was not equal to such t splendid colts of the present year as Colin, Celt and Fair Play, but she was supreme when it came to meet fc ing those of her own -sex and age and is a filly of great speed and a stayer worthy of her name. i As a two-year-old slip won three races in eight starts, taking the second half of the Double Event at s Sheepshead Bay. defeating Chapultepee. King James and three more; the fillies part of the Brighton 1 Produce Stakesat Brighton Beach. Bouquet second and Meggs Hill third, and the fillies half of the Matnfi i Stakes at Belmont Park. Masquerade finishing second and Half Sovereign third. This year she has won 1 five races out of eleven starts, appropriately ending her racing career in this country by winning at a mile -i few davs ago in 1:30.
