The latter was in close Inside quarters in the early running and finished with a great rush on the extreme outside in the stretch. Milford held forth in the rear for seven furlongs and was a fast going second. Samuel H. Harris, after forward contention for a mile, tired in the closing drive. Beauclere trailed to the stretch and finished fast. Miss Crawford, well up for a mile, dropped out in the stretch. Bad News quit after forward pursuit for a mile. Killiecrankie finished close up. Chaplet. virtually left, closed a gap. but had no chance. Cool ran prominently for six furlongs.
