Vanen ran forwardlv for a half, then tired and had to be hard ridden to outstay Voting through the stretch. Aoting had no mishaps, did his best and was not good enough. Mrs. Sewall was in forward contention from the start and, outstaying Miss Crittenden in the closing strides, just got up. Miss Crittenden ran a good race, was in game pursuit all the way and finished resolulelv. Seinnroniuiu, away slowly, closed a big gap and finished fast. Procla had no mishaps and was going well at the end. Charlotte Hamilton ran a good half before tiring. Zeola. away fast, showed the most speed for a half, but tired badly in the stretch drive. Besterllng was going easily for a mile and a half, but tired in the final ouarter. Dr. Simrall led on sufferance for the first mile and had scant opposition for third place during the last half. Al Muller followed Colloquy closely for a half and came witli a rush when straightened out in the stretch and won going away. Colloquy showed the most early speed and began thing, after going a very fast half, but held Berwick safe through the last furlong.
