Prince Ahmed forced Warner Griswell to top speed until just before entering the stretch, where he easily shook the latter off and. taking an easy lead, won easing up. Netting, in close quarters to the iinal sixteenth, got clear and. finishing with a rush, nipped Skyo out in the last stride. The latter ran well and, in a sharp last eighth drive, tired only in the closing strides. Adoration finished with a rush after a rough journey. Fleming tired in the last fifty yards. Warner Griswell ran well to the stretch and retired. The winner was entered Sor 500: no hid. Colloquy set a kill- pace nearly throughout and finished gamely, but was unable to withstand the winners sensational tinc closing challenge. Centre Shot began slowly, but moved up fast in the final quarter, finishing resolutely in p fierce drive. Rosegal, unable to withstand the great early pace, tired badly. The latter left the post slowly and had to go around on the outside on the far turn, but made up ground fast In the final quarter, tiring only in the last few strides. Magazine showed great speed in paccraaking for a mile, but tired suddenly in the closing drive. Edwin T. Fryer finished with a belated rush. Montgomery ran sluggishly for a mile, then moved up Tast and finished resolutely. Light Wool went well for a mile. Green Seal showed speed for six and a half furlongs. Alma Dufour finished fast and outstayed Round and Round in the final seventy-five yards. The latter ran a good race, but tired at the end. Monvina was badly cut off on the far turn.
