; WHAT HIS JUMPERS EARNED FOR J. W. COLT . . Thistledale was the best money earner of the many jumpers owned and raced over the obstacles by J. W. Colt. When just right he is about the best steeplechaser of the day, but is of uncertain temperament and his performances are Contradictory. Still, everything considered,, he did very well and so did the stable. Money to be won at steeplechasing was much curtailed as compared with 1907. so its 5,301 woil measures well with Its 7,S70 of last year. Kara was a good horse this year and Ironsides, Prince of Pilson and Percentage made good in defraying expenses. The record of the stable is: Horse. Age. Pedigree. Sts. 1st. 2d. 3d. Unp. Won.
