PLANNING FOR NEXT YEAR. New York, December 23. The stewards of the Jockey Club, realizing that they will enter on a new era of the turf next season, have determined to keep away from the shoals of reform and have decided to do away with the field stand for the next two years. Everybody who wishes to see racing next year will have to buy a "grandstand badge or remain outside of the local tracks. It was the men who frequented the Inclosure who caused the anti-betting crusade to develop. These race-goers, with small salaries and limited financial accounts, were badly crippled when they went "to the race tracks and lost their money. As a result many families suffered. Consequently there was an attack on race track gambling which brought about the repeal of the Percy-Gray betting law. Another feature determined upon by the magnates is the abolishment of complimentary tickets. Ginette, the French mare by Clarion PIcardia. which was brought to this country several years ago and raced under the colors of R. T. Rainoy, will be shipped to France next Saturday on the Atlantic liner Minnetonka. The old mare Pronta and the six-year-old Massada will be sent along with Ginette and all three wil go to Nash Turner at Maisons-Lattitte. It is said that these mares are destined for the stud.
