NOTES OF THE TURF. F. Ambrose Clark has leased the six-vear-old bav gelding Night Hawk to F. S. Von Stable. A Canadian owner is negotiating for the purchase of W. J. Youngs Kentucky Derby candidate. Direct. Edward Trotter has virtually decided to campaign his stable at the Salt Lake Denver summer meetings. George Odom will ship his horses, which include the speedy pair. Trance and Nimbus, from Graves-end to Baltimore today. C II. Weideniann has purchased Miss Bootless from W. E. Applegate and will add her to his col lection of broodmares at Gonzales. In the latest Ix ndon liotting on the Epsom Derby, now barely a month awav. Bayardo is 9 to 4 against. Glasgerlon 6 to 1 and Strickland 16 to 1. There will be a meeting of the stewards of the Jockey Club at New York Wednesday to take action on applications for jockey and trainer licenses. The Prix de Bois do Boulogne was run and won at Paris yesterday by W. K. Vamlerbilts Oambaiseuil. Herman B. Duryeas Rose Noble was first in the Prix Anbepines. Eddie Dugan. who was refused a license to ride in England, will keep in condition by galloping horses at Cray Send and lie leady to ride when he receives a license from the Jockey Club. Mascarada. the three-vear-old daughter of Disguise — Rhodesia, died at Jravesend a few days ago. This tilly was purchased hf Ceorge Kraus at the weeding-out sale of the James K.
