Boserrian followed Deuce closely until well straightened away in the stretch, where he came away fast. Deuce ran a good race for a first effort in a long time and finished gamely. Sorrel Top had a rough trip and Unished resolutely. Rebel Queen, on the outside most of the way. ran a good race. Come On Sam unit after being a forward contender for a half. Hc.rting ran well. Harold Hail was almost thrown on the lower turn. Pal and Tackle suffered from interference. The winner was entered for $.!00: no bid. Collls Ormsby. from a quick beginning, set a fast pace aud. holding on well in the closing drive, held the others safe throughout. Cherryola. in close quarters until in the last sixteenth, came with a terrific rush and was probably best. Laveno was in forward contention from the start and also suffered from interfer ence. I la Hack, running green and swerving repeatedly, showed speed, but tired in the Stretch. Inferno Queen went well. John McClure closed a big gap. Brunhilde got off badly and had scant chance. Southern Gold quit after going well for three furlongs. The winner was entered for 1909.sh00; no bid. Wintergreen set a fast pace for the first three-quarters that caused Miami to tire badly and held him safe in tlie tlnnl drive. Kings Daughter was reserved in behind Cordova and Enfield for the tir t half, then went into the lead when called on and won easing up. Moquette. sharply impeded soon after the start, was forced back to last place, then closed a big gap in the last three furlongs and finished fast and gamely. Enfield, lucky throughout, ran well, but was tiring badly at the end. Painty Dame came from a long way back in the stretch and would have been third but for interference at the start. Cordova quit after showing much speed for a half. Black Marys rider lost a stirrup soon after the start and caused a mix-up when he tried to pull out of contention. Overweights — Seattle. 4 pounds. Fereno gained steadily in the stretch and Unished gamely. Barlevthorpe slowed the most early speed, but tired near the end as if still abort. Dnquesne ran prominently all tie-way. Iinkaid came with a rush in the last furlong. Glipian. from a poor start, closed a big gap and was ■at persevered wit li near the end. The others were never prominent. Rara Avis had a rough flip and only ran fairly well. Grenade ran a good race and was close up at the end. Bouebriike suffered from interference when Sempro fell on the first turn. Bannock Bob showed s|H-ed for the first three quarters. Gilvedear ran poorly. The winner was entered for 00: no bid.
