HORSES HEADING FOR CHICAGO. Edward Trotter Arranges for Shipment of His String to Harlem After Visit to Chicago. Cincinnati. O.. June 11. — T. W. Flynn, who is making an effort to re-establish racing in Chicago, departed tonight for home with assurances from nearly all the horsemen here that in the event he is successful in arranging a race meeting in Chicago, there will be no lack of horses. , Owner Edward Trotter, who was formerly associated with Flynn in the ownership of horses, returned yesterday from Chicago sanguine that the sport will be resumed there in the near future and has ordered the shipment of his string of racers from Latonia to Harlem race track, where they will be quartered. There will be only three horses in the consignment. Mr. Trotter having disposed of the others that he brought with him from California.
