Woodlands showed much the most speed, but had to be hustled hard in the final furlong to outstay Iaul Uitinart. The latter began with a choppy stride, but gained steadily after going a quarter, rsiiry ru prominent throughout and outstayed Posing in the final strides. The latter was in the worst going earlv and tini-ln ■•! gamely. Rebel Queen closed a gap In the stretch racing. Kl Dorado ran poorly. The winner was entered for 00: no bid. Banives suffered from Blight interference soon after the start and came fast in the stretch. Zephyr began slowly and went wide Utrough-out. Cambronne quit after going a half. All Red raced Deacon into defeat, but tired after going seven furlongs. Deacon was in closest pursuit most of the way and bore out n.ar the end. Nadzu. from a slow beginning, came fast in the stretch and would have been closer up but for" la-ing in close quarters in the last furlong. Winning Star tired after going a half.
