Simeoe left the barrier with a rush and sprinted away from his opponents in the tirst furlong, showed great speed all the way and had everything back of him driving when entering the homestretch. Superstition gained Mcadily when he got settled in his stride, wore Colored Lady down and outstayed her at the end. The latter ran In closest pursuit to the stretch and tired in the final drive.
