COLIN TO GO TO THE STUD FORTHWITH. Announcement Made in England That Unbeaten Son of Commando Cannot Be Trained. London. Eng.. June 17. — It is announced that James R. Keenes aabeatea Colin will go to the stud forthwith, though whether in America or England will not be known until Mr. Keene Is communicated with. Trainer Darling has found It impossible to train Colin satisfactorily in consequence of the unsoundness in one of his legs which betrayed itself at the end of 1908. He was seen yesterday in the paddock at Ascot, whither, it is understood, he was sent to enable those interested in his past achievements to have a farewell glimpse of him before he finally retires.
