Weir has a good mare to handle In her. as she is a callable sprinter and runs honestly. # She Is by Watercress — Cottage Girl. Iu her two-year-old form she was a hard filly to tieat in stake races. Last season she did not do well, but this spring came back from California looking and working tietter than she ever did. The consideration was .500 — which makes her a cheap mare considering that racing is getting better every day. Jennings has only two two-year olds left in the sir-" he brought from California. They are Star Bine and Intrinsic. He has eight turned out and also twelve broodmares ou his ranch iu California.
