Sorrowful showed the most early speed and tired badly after going three-quarters, but finished gamely. St. Aulaire closed a big gap in the last quarter. Elysium ran poorlv. Zephyr ran into the lead soon after the start and held the others safe with ease. Redeem had to overcome early interference, but finished fast and gamely. Lotta Creed was prominent all the way and held on well in the stretch. My Gal was cut off soon after the start and again In the stretch when going fast. Banives ran fairly well. Cymbal had slightly the w-.ist of the start and had to be ridden hard to keep up in the early stages, but finished gamely aud would have been troublesome with an equal start.
