Tannic, away fast, wore Saiuest down after going a half and won easing up. Leamence closed a gap at once, was itlwavs a contender and finished fast and gamely. Frank Stagg had to overcome interference and stood the limit drive gamely. Battle Fleet ran a good race. Kyrouda had to go around the others in the stretch and suffered from interference in the first half. San lrlmo showed much speed in pacemaklng and stayed well in the final drive. Miss Crawford, running kindly, was prominent most of tiie way and outstayed Lubin in the closing drive. The latter began slowly and closed a big gap. Orena was prominent most of the time and would have finished closer up but for going wide. Sempro had 110 mishaps. Judge Saulley ran a good race. J. C. Procla, in forward contention from the start, wore Colnio and Joe Rose . down on the stretch turn and, slanding a drive gamely, held the race safe at the end. Colnio began fast and showed the most speed in Hie early running and stayed well in the final drive. Joe Rose was raced into exhaustion in the first three-quarters in close contention with Colnio. Denver Girl ran a good race. Lillian Ray had no mishaps. Dextrine moved up steadily throughout and was going fast at the end. Sally Cmhs ran poorly. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Zienap set a fast pace for the entire trip, raced Keep Moving and Cymbal into defeat In the lirst three-quarters and held Old Honesty safe in the final drive. Old Honesty moved up fast after going a half and outstayed Lane Allen through the last furlong. Lane Allen, taken back sharply in the first quarter, moved up fast in the last three furlongs and would have been second in a few more strides. Cymbal showed speed, hut failed to stay. Belleview was made too much use of for the first three-quarters to wear Moscow Belle down anil tired. AVarner Griswell was well up throughout, but tired in the final drive. Ethel Carr was gaining near tiie end. Carow tired fast in the stretch. Moscow Belle set the early pace, ran a good race and will improve. The winner was entered for 00; no hid. Mamie Algol, away poorly and knocked back on the first turn, moved up with a rush and, after going three-quarters, was going fastest at the end. E. T. Shipp was poorly ridden and taken all over the track. Banrida. almost left, displayed much speed for tluee-quarters. Font was away badly.
