CANADIAN RACING RECORDS : ; Our northern neighbors have witnessed an abundance of excellent racing ibis year, but only two new Canadian records have appeared so far. These were lioth made at Fort Erie, July 17. when Tourennc ran a mile and a sixteenth in 1:44 and ZIpango a mile and three-sixteenths in 1:58. The record at a mile and a sixteenth previously was 1:45, held jointly by Polly Prim and Peter Sterling, while that at a mile and three-sixteenths was 1:09 and held by Dr. Lee Huffman.
