Cheek, well up from the start, came fast at the.end. Yama ran in nearest pursuit of the pacemaker and tired in the final sixteenth, but was a close up and persistent third.- Aunt Jule set the early pace on sufferance, but held on well to midway of the stretch. Yankee Daughter was a hopeless trailer throughout and seemed unable to extend herself on apcount of soreness. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Scratched 835053Ruble, 100: S3503Eschau, 110. Sir Neddam had a flying start, was forwardly and luckily placed throughout and got up iii the last stride. Captain Swanson, from an Inside slow start, was shulHed rearward, then closed up rapidly on the Inside and challenged midway of the stretch, but succumbed in a hard final drive. Flying Footsteps, from a fast inside start, led by a wide gap to midway of the stretch and was headed, then came again very gamely. Cuthbert, away slowly and pulling up frequently, had a rough journey, but closed a big gap and is very promising. Levengston, after prominent pursuit to the stretch, failed to stay. M. R. AVilliams was pulling up at the start and had no chance. Pocket was prominent for half of, the journey and quit badly. Momus, a good looker, broke and rau green and is promising. Overweights SI. It. Casque ran forwardly for seven "furlongs, but failed to stay. Dr. Barkley was hopelessly outpaced all the way and can do better. Charlie Hargrave, shuffled to the rear, trailed for half of the journey and closed an immense gap at thq end, but made a swerving finish. Cherryola, well up from the start, was gaining at the end. Dullcare. away very badly, ran into quick prominence and, after crossing many of the horses, tired in the closing drive. Foursome ran in nearest pursuit to the stretch and showed superior speed, but failed to stay. Firebox was not good enough here. - Scratched 83453 Blon. 110. .
