Mao Henley was away fast and set a speedy pace, but tired slightly lu the last sixteenth. Merman began slowly and closed a big gap after saving ground on the turns. Fearnanglit II., always well Hp. ran a good race. Metzle had to go wide throughout. Kyrat showed a high flight of early sced. but tired after, going a -quarter. Patsalaga was cut off at the half-mile post when Lady Sybil moved into the lead and ran a good, game race. Turf Star was almost thrown at the half by Scruples, lost much ground by the mishap and closed a big gap in the stretch. English Esther, was going fast In the stretch, but was forced wide by Turf Star, which cost her third place. Polly Lee had no mishaps. Eva Tanguay acted badly at the post and was away poorly. AVarnor Griswell had a rough trip and was interfered with by Pink Linen. Lawyer Millar was knocked back on the lirst turn. Lillie Turner got off very badly and can do much better.
