ALFRED NOBLE TO GO IN SPRINTS. Saratoga. X. Y.. August 4. James B. Gaffnevs 0,000 Alfred Noble will be trained exclusively in future for short -distance racing. Trainer Weir thinks he will develop into another Roseben. In fact. Weir says that Alfred Noble can do all that Roseben ever did right now. and that the son of Garrv Hermann will quickly demonstrate his ability to beat tlie best sprinters, packing heavy burdens. Mr. GafTney intends to buy some more horses during the Saratoga meeting, and has commissioned Weir to 1m on the watch for the right sort.
