REPRESENTATIVE SHEEPSHEAD BAY STAKES. Racing of High Quality Assured for the Coming Fall Meeting at the Popular Track. The Saratoga meeting, now in progress, will terminate Saturday, August 2S, and the autumn meeting of the Coney Island Jockey Club at Sheepshead Bay will begin Monday, August 30, on which day the Futurity will be run. Prospects are as good as they could be under present conditions that the coming meeting will be successful In results. It is trite that only two of the great stakes that formerly marked the Sheepshead Bay fall meetings have been retained, in undiminished values, but the others have secured full entries of all the best horses in this country and in the way of racing there is nothing lost in comparison with former years. The only difference is in monetary returns to owners and the club alike, a condition not altogether to be deplored. In token of the good racing in store for the meeting.
