EASTERN CRUSADE AGAINST ROUGH RIDING. New York, September 4. That rough riding will be severely frowned upon by the officials of the Jockey Club was announced yesterday, when the stewards summoned all the jockeys before them to announce that the first offender would be suspended and his case referred to the Jockey Club. There have been many complaints over the rough riding lately and the owners are up in arms for the reason that many good horses have been injured in consequence.
