COLORADO RACING BILL IS DEAD. Denver. Col., April 20. The lack of one vote only prevented the passage of the racing bill of Senator Comfort h over the veto of Governor Shafroth yesterday, when a final attempt was made to obtain favorable action. The vote showed twenty-three senators in favor of the passage of tlie bill and twelve opposed to overriding tlie governors veto. As this requires a two-thirds vote tlie measure failed to carry by one vote and is therefore finally disposed of.
