JAMES ROWE TO TRAIN WHITNEY STRING. New York. April 20. II. P. Whitneys horses. which have been wintering at Red Bank, N. J., will go to Pimlico in the care of James Bowe, who formerly trained for James, R. Keene. Mr. Rowe had a chance to train H. B. Duryeas horses in France this year at a tempting salary. Mr. Keene also wanted him to handle his stable in England, but Mr. Rowe- decided that he did not care to lenve this country, and when Air. AAhitney made him a line offer he accepted it.
