PRISCILLIAN MAY BECOME A JUMPER. New York, April 20. Prlscillian. the six-year-old chestnut gelding by Hastings St. Priscilla. will have to show high-class form in his spring starts, otherwise he will join the steeplechase brigade. Prior to S. C. Hildreths departure for Pinilieo, Air. Belmont discussed witli Mr. Hildrejh the advisability of sending the horse through the field. Air. Hiidreth said that Prlscillian is in as good condition -as it was possible to get a horse apd that his recent trials were first-class. It was decided to continue to race the handsome son of Hastings on the liat. Practical, the five-year-old brother to Priscillian, may get a course of schooling over the jumps before long. This horse is handled by trainer Louis Feustel at the course of the AAcstchester Racing Association at Belmont Park. If a decision is arrived at whereby Priscillian is to lie converted into a juniper, lie will probably lie shipped abroad and entered in cross-country events in France.
