THE SQUARE DEAL IN RACING. The laws of betting, as revised by the British tribunal of turf speculation, the Newmarket Subscription Rooms Committee, -are well worth study by that section of the community which, while gambling in stocks, in insurance, in land, aud in the commodities of the land, yet has time to give approval and support to anv movement to jafl that other section which prefers other speculative objects. Herein the code of sport differs from that which prevails in most other fields of human activity. Do you know of any other in which it is an indispensable condition that you shall have an equal break? Toronto Globe.
