AVATSON ran well and suffered from interference during the runuing, but was outpaced by the first two. SIR GILES ran fairly well. INCITER ran for-wardly to the stretch and tired. THE HAGUE, well ridden, soon ran into the lead and, standing a hard drive through the last sixteenth, out-gamed QUEEN MARGUERITE in a well contested finish. QUEEN MARGUERITE was shullled buck while rounding the first turn and was reserved too long on the backstretch. but finished fast and resolutely. AVING TING closed a big gap and finished fast. EMILY LEE showed speed, but tired in the stretch. FRECKLE quit after going a fast half mile. The winner, entered for 1911.sh00, was bid up to 05 and bought in. Overweights Emily Lee, 44 pounds. NIMBUS was taken with a hemorrhage after going a half mile. NICK STONER ran a good race for him, and is worth remembering. STAR ORYAN fiuished well. Scratched 9S3S0 Starbottle- 105. SWANNAXOA, away slowly, closed a big gap quickly into prominent contention and-finished fast and gamely. HIGH PRIVATE, after running prominently, was shuffled back on the stretch turn, but came I again and had to be hard. driven to outstay DOXAU- The latter showed great speed and set a very fast c pace for over three-quarters, hut quit in the stretch drive.
