BEX LOYAL showed surprising speed in the going, dashed into a decisive load in the first furlong and won all the way never fully extended. MEXOAXA was cut off at the half-mile post and then taken to the outside and liuislied gamely. CARRILLON closed a gap and finished fast and resolutely. SERVICEXCE ran well to the stretch and tired. TIPSAND slipped through on the inside and was hustled into a long lead while rounding the far turn and easily hold his advantage when MISS JOE challenged. The latter gained steadily and outstayed MONSIEUR X. in the final drive. MONSIEUR X. showed much speed in the going, but tired in the closing strides. LOATHLY LADY ran well. TnE GOLDEN BUTTERFLY steadily improved her position and, wearing ONRICOS lead down after entering the homestretch, outstayed EDDA in the final drive. EDDA was carried very wide on the first turn and dropped hack, then closed a big gap into a fast going second. ONRICO showed a fine turn of early speed aii3 set the pace to the stretch, but tired after going six furlongs.
