BEN LOYAL showed surprising speed in the going, dashed into a decisive lead in the first furlong and won all the way never fully extended. 3IEXOANA was cut off at the half-mile post and then taken to the outside and iinislwed gamely. CARRILLON closed a gap and finished fast and resolutely. SERVICENCE ran well to the stretch and tired. BABY WOLF quit badly after showing speed early. TIP-SAND slipped through on the inside and was hustled into a long lead while rounding the far turn and easily held ids advantage when 3IISS JOE challenged. The latter gained steadily and outstayed MONSIEUR X. in the final drive. MONSIEUR X. showed much speed in the going, but tired in the closing strides. LOATHLY LADY ran well. TnE GOLDEN BUTTERFLY steadily improved her position and. wearing ONRICOS lead down after entering the homestretch, outstayed EDDA in the final drive. EDDA was carried very wide on the first turn and dropped back, then closed a big gap into a fast going second. ONRICO showed a fine turn of early speed mid set the pace to the stretch, but tired after going six furlongs. FANTASQUE and SEVERN showed early speed. POWDERMAN forced the pace until on the stretch turn, where he drew away into an easy lead and was only cantering at the end. HAVROCK set the pace under restraint- for seven furlongs, but quit badly when called on. SATIN BOWER ran fairly well, but was tiring badly in the stretch. The others were beaten iff. The latter showed much the most sieed for six furlongs and led by a wide margin, but tired badly in the stretch. SECONKE closed a big gap in the last quarter. TABOO ran poorly.
