GOOD PROSPECTS FOR ALAN MEETING Coetir r Alette Idaho April 12 Prospects for the sixtyone days meeting of the Coeur dAlene Fair and Racing Association which will open ut the Alan track on Saturday of next week are excellent That there will be no lack of racing material seems certain Already there are 350 horses at the track and more are coming every day from El Paso Cali ¬ fornia Salt Lake British Columbia and other north ¬ western points A telegram was received from W H Fizer to the effect that ho intended shipping six ¬ teen horses here from Louisville Ky including ton twoyearolds It is expected that COO horses will lit here for the opening openingThe The weather is highly favorable and the track is In fine condition Horsemen say that it probaMv will be faster this spring than ever The general public seems o be well pleased over the decision of the management to install the parimutuel system of hotting and it is predicted that it will be a success here from the beginning beginningThe The otlicials for the meeting will include Robert F Lelghton presiding Judge A T Dobson asso ¬ ciate judge Phil Reilly clerk of the scales John Diiiue tinier and paddock judge and Edward Tribe starter The meeting will lit conducted under Mm direction of a hoard f managers consisting of M I Wright president A V Chamberlain treasurer and F W Smith secretary
