ENROLLMENT OF STALLIONS NECESSARY. Albany, X. Y., December 5. Although blanks were sent out nearly two months ago for the enrollment of stallions under the new law. Commissioner of Agriculture Charles S. Wilson has had little response. He urged that those owning stallions to be offered for service fill out the blanks and submit them to the veterinary bureau of the department. The new law provides for the examination of ail stallions by a veterinarian, who must certify to the department the animals soundness and freedom from infections and incurable diseases. Xo stallion, the law provides, shall be allowed for service after January 1, 1917. that lias not been enrolled and certified by the department. The law prohibits the collection of fees for the service of unenrolled stallions.
