LAST SEASON OP P. J. PONS HIS SECOND SEST IN POINT OP EARNINGS h- The fifteen horses in the stable of the late Francis J. Pons won 7,195 for him in purses in 1910, giving him his second best racing season with the thoroughbreds. In 1910 Mr. Pons horses won fifty-three races and were placed in more than a hundred othens, his years stable earnings amounting to .17,008. He then had on the track such well-known performers as Font. Jack Deinnan, Jack Parker, Tony Bonero, Ben Double and Abrasion. During the past season the best money-getter for the stable was the live-year-old Miss Waters, by Lord Ksterling Lucrece, which brought in ,915 for her owner, but she ran no less than fifty-live times to do it. Much more encouraging to the owner, who was called by death so suddenly just after the close of the racing season, must have been the showing made by his two-year-old division, which included no less than seven winners, live of them by his good racer of a half dozen years ago.
