XING OF SPAINS SUCCESSFUL HORSES. At the last meeting at Madrid on November 12, the colors of the king of Spain who races as the Duke of Toledo were twice successful, by aid of Alphonsinc in a selling race, and Charing Cross III. in the Premio Fulmen. The latter race was a handicap of 200 sovereigns.. Charing Cross III. is ii five-year-old by the old Cesarewitch winner, St. "IJris. The Duke of Toledo has, I see, entered his crsek horse, Antivaro, for the Prix du Cadran 3,000 sovereigns, which, circumstances permitting, will ibe run for at Paris next year. The Marquis do Villnmejor, who for many years past has been identified with racing in France, brought off a capital double on November 10, winning the Princess Handicap with his three-year-old Spearmint colt, Su-duirant, and the Premio Rosina with Totania, a four-year-old by Cantabre. There were only three runners for this long-distance race, but for the event won by Suduirant there was a field of eleven, and the owner of the winner supplied also the run-iner-up in the three-year-old Lahcns.
