ELLA B. showed much speed in pacemaking, but tired when challenged iiv the winner SATSUMA BELLE ran a good race and finished fast and close up. MY FIRST closed a big gap in the last quarter. Won driving; second and third the same MARGUERITE W. began fast next to the rail and, passing FRED T. quickly, took a good lead, but tired in the stretch and just lasted long enough to win. MERRY TWINKLE cut across in front at the start and bumped G. W. KISKER and MARGUERITE W. in the last sixteenth, for which he was disqualified PALMA ran a good race and finished fast and close up. G. W. KISKER was bumped out of a good chance and finished gamely. TOASTMASTER was jumped on by MERRY TWINKLE while coins to the first turn. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. The latter finished with i great rush and would have won in another stride. REDLAND was practically left at the post and tired after racing into the lead and making the pace to the last eighth. ZAMLOCH raced forwardly and hung on gamely in the stretch drive MISS FIELDER tired after setting the pace to the stretch. YALLAHA was bumped at the start."
