NO RACING AT JUAREZ UNTIL FRIDAY. Suspension Due to Time Required to Install New Pari-Mutuel Machines Free Gate Friday. El P.ifo, lex., December 12. There will be no racing at the Juarez track tomorrow or Thursday, on account of the time required for installing the thirteen new pari-mutuel machines. The work of putting the apparatus into place began immediately after the conclusion of the last race on todays card, and is sure to be all completed by Thursday, permitting racing to be resumed on Friday. Manager Winn is having the betting ring transformed, and the machines will be arranged just as they are at Laurel and on the Kentucky tracks. Mr. Winn has decided to name the re-opening on 1riday as "El Paso." when the Jockey Club Juarez will Invite the public to attend the races free as guests to inspect and see the operation of the machines. Blarney was left at the post in the opening race on todays card. He wheeled as the barrier lifted. Stella Craine, the favorite, went into the lead at once and held ft throughout, but was closely pressed, first by Vested Rights and then by Rubicon II. The latter got on practically even terms in the stretch, but the mare proved the gamer in the final struggle and won by a half length, while Rubicon II. bad a wide margin over Vested Rights. Little String sprung a surprise by winning the fourth race, a hanicap, at five and a half furlongs. The two-year-old Waremore cut out a fast pace, but was so closely pressed by Lytle that he tired, then the gelding seemed to have the race at his mercy until Little String came with a rush and nailed him at the finishing line. In the second race Belle C, the favorite, was never prominent in the running. Lycia, Crown Prince and Dyson were the contenders, and the last named proved the best stayer, wearing Lycia down in the closing strides after she at one time had a. good lead. Alan met with serious interference in this race and closed a gap resolutely. In the third race Peter Grimm outdistanced his opponents all the way and won easily.
