BIG CROWD AT HOT SPRINGS. Advance Guard of the Racing Fraternity Reaches the Spa — Campbell in Charge. Hot Springs. Ark., February 24. — The advance guard of tin- racing patronage- has arrived from New Orleans, spec ial trains bringing hundreds of persons enthusiastic- for the race meeting which opens here March 7. Two carloads of horses also arrived from the Crescent City track Thursday, and a special train of se-ven cars of stock reached here- Friday. Associate judge Jack Campbell has arrived he-re and can be found at the Oaklawn track, where he will superinte-nd the stabling of the thoroughbreds until Joseph E. Martin of St. Louis reaches here next week. Mr. Martin will manage this meeting, which will be under the auspices of the Business Mens League. There are more vis; tors in this city tonight than in fifteen years and the accommodation facilities are far from being taxed.
