LUCK OF REBECCA MOSES IN FIRES. Bebeeea Moses, the mare which escaped from the Bffau Witchs barn at Belmont Park recently, whea the other horses were all burned to death, seems to bear a charmed life v. lien it comes to fires. At Bowie last tall. Bebeeea Mii-.es was moved out of a -tall in which ten minutes fatter father Riley was burned to death. She was in one other fire in which the escaped, so that her score is now three. While the man- escaped she was b.olly scorched and when she ran lata a manure box and fell, she injured her stifle rather badly. Dr. McCully lias promised that she will come oat of her injury all right, but it may be the Kail Maaaa baton aha is seen at the races. Bebeeea Moses is now owned by Mrs. Maloney of Newport, Ky.. and trained by T. R. Queen, a former Jockey, ami her great giamidam, The Nun. is a iii. m that was owned by his father. She was trained by the elder Qaeea and while riding her he had a fall froaa which he never recovi r d.
