SOME RELIEF FROM CAP. SHORTAGE. Another Consignment of Horses Left New Orleans Last Night for Hot Springs. New Orleans. La., February 24. — Some relief from the shortage of horse cars in this vicinity was obtained today, when the first consignment of cars, which were sent to Hot Springs after the Fair Grounds meeting closed, returned here and were immediately reloaded and a special train made up for the Vapor City. Included iu the stables which ■hipped today were the horses of K. W. MOQCt, W. C. Clancy, John Lowe and F. Letellier. Another consignment of horse ears is expected late tonight or tomorrow morning, probably six or so more and they are eagerly being sought by the horsemen. Few horses have been sent away from the Fair Grounds thus far ! • cause of the lack of cars, and at the rate they are moving now. it will lie- the latter part of next week before all get away. Tribolo. a useful selling plater, in the stable of L. J. Carey, dripped had in his stall at the Fair Clonals today. The horse sustained an injury Some time ago and lockjaw recently developed. It is the plan of judge Joseph A. Murphy to go to his home in St. Louis for a rest either tonight or Sunday night.
