LIVE METROPOLITAN TURF NOTES. New York. February 24. — Henry McDaniel, w-ho has charge of the W. S. Kilmer sL.ble of horses, intends to ship his string from Biughamton to Gravescnd Bert in March. J. Flannigan has purchased three horses to take the place of those recently destroyed in the lire at Belmont Park. The late purchases are said to be from the Belmont stable. W. E. B. L.vons. tin- youngest gentleman rider in this section, his gone to France to drive an American ambulance. Morton DeWitt Bamberger, another gentleman rider, has just returned from France, not having passed physical examination.
