MAC0MBER DERBY ELIGTBLES SHOW SPEED. Louisville, Ky.. May 4. — Six of the A. K. Ma-conibor Derby eligibles were worked in pairs at Churchill Downs. North Star III. and War Star were the first to make their appearance on the track and. working together, they were sent a mile and a quarter in 3H. 48%, 1:01%. 1:15, 1:28%, 1:42%. 1:50, 2:10, pulled up last eighth. Hollister and Star Master worked together, going the same distance in 2:07%, the fractional time being 51, 1:16%, 1:42, 1:54% Star iazer and The Cock were sent a mile and an eighth, working together as follows: 49%, 1:02, 1:14%, 1:27%, 1:41%, 1:55%.
