MAY SIGN RACING COMMISSION BILL Baltimore. Md.. Anril 13.— It is now likely that Governor Harrington, of Maryland, will sign the race track bill creating a commission- to supervise turf affairs in Prime Georges county. Although the opposition sueceeded in reaching His Honor with a counter hill, which recently passed the legislature, tit- governor stated that he believed that the majority of the residents of the county wanted the sport, but delayed final signing of the race track measure to give the reform element an opportunity to present affidavits to some of their allegations against the directors of the Bowie track. According to witnesses at the healing, the anti-ra ing aggregation made glaring exaggerations in depleting the evil of the sport as conducted at the Bowie course and the governor finally decided to give the reformers a chance to substantiate their statement and set the liual hearing for next AVcdnosday.
