JOHN LUM3DEN BUYS STOCK FARM New York. April 22. -John Lumsden, the Ottawa turfman, has purchased the Peipiest arm of N acres from It. H. McCarter Potter. The farm is situated at Andover. N. J., and is an ideal place for breeding thoroughbreds. Mr. Potter raised many good banes on the estate, which was the home of Knight of the Thistle and Klambeail. two Bated stallions. Mr. Lunisden intends lo stark his new enterprise with tendfeaares and suitable rtalttes* and will go into the breeding of thoroughbreds en a lurge scale.
