Blind Baggage and others whose achievements on the track have brought them into unusual prominence are among the horses whose participation promises exceptionally brilliant racing at both of the Kentucky tracks referred to. It is evident that Willis Sharpe Kilmer, of Bing-hamton, X. . is counting upon an extended campaign on the Blue Grass circuit for his crack three-year-old. Sun Briar, now much in the public eye us the prospective favorite for the Kentucky Derby. Mr. Kilmer has nominated Sun Briar for the 5,000 Kentucky Handicap, to be run at Douglas Park on Saturday. It is superfluous to suggest that local followers of racing would lie esfieclally gratified to see Mr. McLeans colors in action at Latonia, in view of bis Cincinnati connections and the effective manner in which his influential newspapers here and at Washington have supiMirted the great sport of racing.
