SUBSCRIBE FOR THIRD LIBERTY BONDS Lexington. Ky.. Awil 22. — The directors of the Thoroughbred Horse Association at n meeting Saturday afternoon admitted to lnemliership Messrs. L. H. Baxter, of Marianao. Cuba; C. B. Head, of Louisville: Thomas Murphy, of Louisville, trainer for A. K. Macomber; Dr. o". J. Phelps, of Lexington. and Charles Tugendhaft. of New Orleans. The directors also instructed the secretary to subscribe for ,000 of the Third Liberty Loau Bonds, which will make an investment of 1918.sh,000 in these bonds, and iu War Saving Stamps. It was announced at this meeting that the committee of breeders has begun its work of raising 0,000 as their part of the 00,000 pledged by the thoroughbred horse interests to the American Red Cross war fund. The annual meeting of the members of the Thoroughbred Horse Association will fee held in the Phoenix HetH here next Saturday evening at eight oclock.
