NEW YORK HORSES QUITE FORWARD Only March 0, vet manv is the horse in training at Gtavesend and Belmont Park that is quite ready to race. Because of the remarkably mild winter and the fact that the track was in condition for working practically every day the trainers have developed their charges to a remarkable state of preparedness in fact, some of them fear they have gone a bit too fast. The horses stabled there feel fine and chipper and yesterday saw most of them galloping. James Boden, trainer for the Triple .Springs Farm, had his horses out In January, and he has some ready to go If they got the word today. Both Pen Rose and Gex are coming along in fine condition. Gene Weylnnd, trainer, for Walter Salmon, had a number of youngsters working hard, while James Fitzsimmons. who trains for Herbert L. Pratt, Capt. J. E. Davis and the Qulncy Stable, was galloping thirteen juveniles and sixteen older horses. Jack Goldsborongh was giving his most assiduous attention to Andrew Millers Roamer, which he expects will have another great year. Frank Regan, A. J. Spears, Otto Rasch. George Odom, Rob Roy, Dick Miller and John Miller are the other trainers whose horses were seen cantering over the old track. They look for the biggest racing season in the history of the sport, and the outlook surely justifies that rosy prophecy. New York Sun.
