RUTH -STRICKLAND was forced back in the first quarter and came fast at the end. ESTIMABLE set the early pace and tired badly. PASSING FANCY quit. "was going well at the end and closed quite n gap. HARRY BURGOYNE had the best of the start, but tired badly after going a half mile. SABRETASH had scant chance with his poor sendoff.
