Won easilv; second and third driving. JEAN BULLANT was rushed to the front fn the first sixteenth and set a fast early pace, but tired in the last eighth. ANZAC moved up rapidly after rounding the far turn and raced past LIOLA in the stretch. GAIN DE CAUSE closed an immense gap. LOCUST LEAVES propped at the start and was as good as left. DAYDUE ran in much improved form, set a good pace and finished resolutely. MINT CAT appeared to sulk in the early running, but finished with a great burst Of speed. SMITHFIELD came again and was wearing the winner down, but pulled up lame. CLOOTZ led by a wide margin early, but tired in the last time around. DORCRIS fell at the ninth Jump.
